I joined the Agricultural Informatics Lab in February of 2022. I currently work as an undergraduate research assistant doing web development and migration. I work on the Plant Data Service API and support migration and maintenance of the MCCC Species Selector Tools.
I am an undergraduate in Purdue’s Agricultural and Biological Engineering program, majoring in biological engineering with a cellular and molecular focus, and minoring in biotechnology.
I am still exploring my own career interests, but I think it would be neat to use bioinformatic techniques to prioritize genes for wet-lab function determination. I will be graduating in 2024. Since I have always really enjoyed computer science, I plan on entering graduate school to study bioinformatics.
Outside of the academic context, I really enjoy art and design and worked briefly as a cartoonist for the Purdue Exponent. I love D&D and I main as a druid.
