Jillian Arber

I am a PhD student at Purdue University, majoring in Agricultural and Biological Engineering under the watch of my advisor, Ankita Raturi. I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor of Science in Plant & Soil Sciences. For the past 3 years I’ve been working hands-on with plants; first at a greenhouse internship, then at an internship-turned-job at a plant genetics laboratory specializing in plant shade response. I came to Purdue to pursue an interest in the intersection of plants and technology and in how the agriculture industry can be improved through the application of digital agriculture.
